Sharing in the performance of the Brahms work will be pianist Kimberlee Turnbough and ‘cellist Brenda Leonard. The first half of the program includes Flighting, for solo clarinet, written by Michael Berkeley, a contemporary British composer and Johannes Brahms’ Trio for Clarinet, ‘Cello, and Piano, Opus 114. Wagner, clarinetist and flutist, and Professor of Music Emeritus at Newberry College. The program is a continuation of the John, Janet, and Jazz programs which were begun in 2002, and is the fifteenth in the series.
